I am very proud to introduce the Seven series. The Seven series has been designed to provide unheard of performance for its price. This has been achieved by very clever design and the use of very high quality parts in all critical locations and this really matters when it comes to performance. No unnecessary facilities, connections, switch contacts, relays or other circuitry have been included so its all about achieving maximum performance to achieve the ultimate listening experience.

Seven Phono Stage

The Seven Phono is a new design with many unique design features. Like all Tron products it relies on the vacuum tube for providing amplification. I am not going to extol the virtues of this method of amplification over solid state but I have found it to produce the most natural presentation of recorded music. I guess thatŐs why all the top musicians still use valve amps for recording and why recording engineers still use valve/tube microphones when recording. I have kept the stages in the Seven to an absolute minimum and have selected valves/tubes that are easily obtainable, giving the potential owner the option of using his or her favourite brand. The Seven can come set up either for moving magnet or moving coil cartridges. The coil option has 2 levels of gain:
1) for cartridges with an output of 0.3mV to 0.7mV, or
2) for cartridges with an output of 0.1mV to 0.3mV.
Either of the options can be specified at the making stage.

The output stage is a very low impedance high current design, which enables it to be used with any pre-amp designs, whether a low impedance solid state design or even a transformer type volume control. Ultimately the proof is in the listening and I strongly recommend you take the opportunity to listen to one at your nearest Tron Dealer. Seven Line Stage

The Seven Line is a new design with many unique design features. Like all Tron products it relies on the vacuum tube for providing amplification. I have kept the stages in the Seven to an absolute minimum and have selected valves/tubes that are easily obtainable, giving the potential owner the option of using his or her favourite brand. The Seven line stage comes with 5 RCA inputs, mono/stereo switch, mute switch, earth lift switch, silver RCA sockets, non ferrous case and it is all made in the UK. It also has fitted a very high quality Elma selector switch and a close tolerance Noble volume control.

The output stage is a very low impedance high current design, which enables it to be used with any power-amplifier designs, whether a low impedance solid state design or a valve amplifier.
