TRON Voyager
The Tron Voyager
is a very special and unique amplifier. It is a true OTA (one tube
per channel amplifier). There are only three valves in the whole
amplifier: one output valve per channel and a rectifier valve.
It is the simplest
of amplifiers made today, the closest it is possible to get to the
theoretically perfect "wire with gain". We have currently
been using this with our reference loudspeaker, the Avantgarde Trio
Omega, and it will work beautifully with any Lowther /Fostek horn
speaker too.
